Dave, I have a question/correction regarding something I read in the candidate responses. It's regarding education, but I thought I would put it in this section.

Art sated that Maplewood/S.O. schools are ranked 177 out of 307. There are in fact somewhere near 600 school districts in NJ. I believe that the 307 comes from the number of districts that actually respond to the questionaire. If I am wrong, someone correct me.

Oh, and by the way, nice forum, I mean the Debate section. Thanks, Dave (and candidates!)

There are about 615 school districts in New Jersey. Not all have high schools, and some of the high schools are vocational or county alternative schools. The ranking is not an official or state ranking; it's an excerpt from the recent article published by New Jersey Monthly, which sought to rank only districts with high schools.

Brian- do you have any idea if 307 is an accurate count of the high schools? It was my understanding that some high schools don't even respond.
