I have a friend that may be interested in bidding on the snack bar at the MCP for the 2003 summer. Does anyone know where she can find more information about it and when the bidding begins? |

Contact Mr. Brauchli, the Director of the department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs. He can give your friend the information she's looking for. I would expect solicitations for bids to go out early next year.

On a similar subject, if anyone is interested in making an offer on operating the Cafe and Juice Bar at the Maplewood Train Station, the opportunity is still available.
This opportunity is in conjunction with the Maplewood Concierge Company. Commuter and resident concierge services, including a variety of municipal services are also provided along with the Café and Juice Bar.
Additional conditions are that the station be kept open from 9:45AM to 8:00PM, Monday through Friday, and 8:00AM to 1:00PM on Saturdays and Sundays. Entertainment and private parties are optional.
