I just wanted to remind everyone that the paving will start on Monday.

They will start at Irvington Ave. and work towards Elmwood Ave. If you live on this section of Boyden you will need to move your car by 6;30 a.m.

After this section is complete they will start at StyvestantAve.(sp) and work towards Springfield Ave. This part may not get finished by the end of the day. If you live in this section you have a little bit longer before you move your car. What ever is left over they will complete on Tuesday night when the pave between Elmwood Ave and Springfield Ave.

If you have any questions you can call the Engineering Dept.

The paving part of it should be over by Wed. They will have to come back to saw cut and stripe the road at a later date. I will try to keep you updated as to that schedule also.

Paving between Springfield Ave. and the Union line (By Seth Boyden) will be done on Tuesday in the a.m. SA to Elmwood is still scheduled to be paved Tuesday night. I think that section will probably start around 8 or 9.

Just out of curiosity, what effect has the skyrocketing price of oil had on the price of asphalt?
