I'm not exactly complaining here, just confirming that the leaves that are littering the streets are now with us for the rest of the winter. My neighbor's landscaper/ terrorist yesterday left a huge pile almost in front of my driveway, blocking both my access into my own driveway and my view while backing out into a dangerous street. I guess it's up to me to clear them, now? No more pick-ups after 12/14, is that right? |

There was a pickup this week in my neighborhood, but I don't remember which day (I'm leaning towards Wednesday, the 18th). I'd check with the town or DPW to see if they're still coming -- I understand the weather set them back a few days. |

I saw a crew out this morning gathering the very wet leaves the best they could. Don't know your neighborhood, but around these parts if the leaf collections are over, my neighbors and I do it the old-fashioned way: bag them up ourselves and haul or throw them away. Your neighbor should instruct the landscaper to do the same. |

My guess is that the lawn services call DPW and know when the leaves are going to pick up the leaves in various neighborhoods. Our guy showed up in the nick of time last Monday. The leaves were picked up Tuesday. Of course this is after we thought he had abandoned us and my wife and I spent a good part of Sunday cleaning up, but that is another story. |

What about branches from the recent storms and high winds? Do I just hold onto them until Spring? |
