VERIZON CELL TOWER CASE TO BE POSTPONED TO THE JUNE 2, 2003 MEETING OF THE MAPLEWOOD ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

Please note that the Verizon cell tower case will not be heard at the April 7, 2003 Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting. The April meeting itself has not been cancelled, but the Verizon case will be postponed to the Board's June 2, 2003 meeting (8 pm). Verizon's attorney will be present at the April 7, 2003 meeting to explain the reasons for the postponement.

Sarah Hayden, Board Secretary

Flt,

I suggest you don't hold your breath, and don’t plan on saving any money by getting rid of your home phone service anytime soon.

IMHO, the way things are going on this matter, the residents and business people in Maplewood are not going to see any improvement in cell phone service for a long time to come, if at all…

The article was about Essex Fells adopting an ordinance limiting where cell towers can go
