I received this notice too late to attend. Where can I get a hold of Maplewood's Master Plan ---------------------------------- } PUBLIC NOTICE TOWNSHIP OF MAPLEWOOD PLANNING BOARD PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Township of Maplewood Planning Board will meet on Monday, September 29, 2003 at 8 pm in the Committee Room at Maplewood Town Hall, 574 Valley Street, Maplewood, New Jersey, for the purpose of holding a public workshop to discuss the Township’s Master Plan. This is an Open Public Meeting. In order to encourage full participation in this opportunity for public comment, please submit any requests for needed accommodations 72 hours prior to this hearing. J&J Note that the Master Plan is not really a "Master Plan", per se. More to do with zoning and land use. Maplewood currently lacks a Vision, Mission Statement, Organization Chart, etc. Ed May |

Ed, I’m a lifer in corporate America. I’ve seen dozens of mission statements and they all got ignored. After a new mission statement gets written it’s usually displayed on the wall outside the CEO’s office where it draws dust. Good planning is always worthwhile but mission statements are a complete waste of time.
