Grw, it looks like it might be right in your back yard? Will you be able to see it from anywhere on your street? |

At the last Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting I took to the public comment microphone and said that I would like the cell tower where it will bring the most revenue into the town coffers. It sounded like there were locations, not on the golf course, that might meet this objective, and blend in better with the surroundings. Joel and will be at the hearing tonight if you want to talk to us in person. Ed May |

Larry The locations are two pieces of Private Property on Millburn Avenue. I don't recall the owners' names but they were at the last ZBA meeting. The owners told Joel that they will be at tonight's meeting. Ed May |

There was no vote last. The board didn't get to this case till almost 10pm and then heard Verizon testify to the merits (or lack thereof) of the DCH lot for their needs. The rest of the evening was spent on public comment! Millburns mayor spoke out in opposition of this plan and then Vic Deluca tried to speak but was not allowed to. This is a bad plan for all of us... Verizon is pursuing a business plan and the board seems to be quaking in fear at the prospect of saying no to verizon. Next episode on December 1st

I didn't see any fear in the Board, quite the opposite. |
