Does a discussion and/or update of the status of the Parker Avenue Jitney fall within one of the above categories? If not, is there any way to add it to the agenda?

Gerry-
If I want to address the committee (#13), do I need to submit anything ahead of time in writing, etc., or is there some kind of registration at the meeting? thanks.

Robbob - I am sure Vic's reading this and will report.

Drewdix - No advanced registration is required. Signup is almost never required (unless there is a very large crowd).

Robbob - The problem is finding a driver for the morning hours who will be reliable for the entire year not just the summer months. We are looking into an alternative plan and I hope to have a few open issues resolved soon so that we can start the route.

Drew - Just come to the meeting at 8pm. At the appropriate point in the meeting I will invite anyone to speak to the TC, that is your cue. I assume you will be bringing up the dog run issue. See you then.

I have a question for Vic or Gerry, "who controls the timing of the traffic signals in Maplewood?" It would be great if we could make delayed greens on some intersections. One being in front of Columbia High School. (Valley & Parker). It's frustrating sitting in a row of cars waiting for one car to turn. Some days you sit for 2 lights sometimes more. Another one is at the corner of Valley and Park Road. By the gas station.

Having delayed greens would free up traffic so it doesn't back up on Valley Street.

Thanks!

Vic and Jerry would know better, but Valley is a county road, so I'd bet the authority lies with county people.

But if we can take back Springfield Ave from the County, why couldn't we get them to change the traffic lights to better serve the community. Maybe we need to have it looked into. This was just a suggestion.

I believe that one of the posts by either The Mayor or Mr. Ryan stated that the timing of the lights on Springfield was one of issues the town can address since we have taken back responsibility for Springfield Avenue.

How many lights do we have on Springfield? 4? 5? I'd like to see the timing in Irvington and Newark changed. I don't mind at all the lights in Maplewood.
