Here is the agenda for tomorrow night's meeting. Meetings are in Maplewood Town Hall beginning at 8:00 and are simulcast on Comcast chl 35.

Post questions on this thread and I'll try and get an answer as soon as possible.

Readers of the "Irish Pub in Maplewood" thread will note that there will be an ABC hearing about the transfer of a liquor license to "American-Irish Pub Concept AIPC".

Gerry,

Please don't abandon the Rent Control Thread. It has the third highest amount of postings in the Soapbox area. It's an issue that won't go away until something is done.

I would truly like to hear your reason for having such an ordinance. I know that you and I have may have different views on the subject. The thing is, I've never heard the reason why you feel the way you do, and I would really like to know why you and the other members of the Town Council have continued the ordinance. I think it would greatly help me understand, as well as the others, why we have it here. So, please do not abandon the thread. It's only getting bigger, and it shows no sign of letting up. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Question: as a new resident, how does one get on a committee, for example, Arts/Maplewood?

Any advice would be appreciated.

CCM: call the Clerk's office at 973-762-8120. Fill out a "Volunteer Resource Form" so that the TC can find out about your interest.
