The following is the schedule for the garden debris pick up this spring.
Area Dates
1&2 April 1 April 9 April 17 April 25
3&4 April 2 April 10 April 18 April 26
5&6 April 3 April 11 April 19 April 29
7&8 April 4 April 12 April 22 April 30
9&10 April 5 April 15 April 23 May 1
11&12 April 8 April 16 April 24 May 2
Materials to be picked up are limited to branches, leaves and garden rakings when packaged as follows:
Branches not more than 4 feet in length and tied in bundles that can be handled by one man.
Leaves and Garden Rakings must be placed in returnable containers that can be handled by one man. No plastic bags. |

Due to budget pressures, there will be only one bulk pickup this year and into the future. We are still negotiating with the disposal company to do the collections in late May or June. Once we get certain dates we will get that information out. |

Mayor Deluca: Is the bulk pickup you refer above the household refuse that was formerly 2X per year? |

No, I got the flyer at the recycling yard. I don't think there will be a mailing this year. The town has posted the flyer on all the bulletin boards in town and at all municipal buildings.
The disticts or areas are the same as the recycling districts. If you don't know what area you are in, I can post the borders for each area. |

Eb1154, thank you, I do know my district. However I did not know the dates and do appreciate your posting them.
I think the usual flyers should be mailed. Don't know of any prior year when they were not mailed. I think people will miss seeing the posted info. and the town or Waste Management will get lots of calls. |

A brief description of the zones was in the News-Record this past week. If you are not sure, maybe you could just ask one of your neighbors. |
