What's with the sign on Springfield Ave. near Indiana (Eastbound) that says the street will be closed starting May 23 and to make other arrangements?

Anyone? Profeta? Grodman? Bueller?

Vic DeLuca is going out to lunch and his motorcade needs to get through.

You wouldn't say that if you saw my lawn.

Why, did his motorcade drive over your lawn last time?

They couldn't have waited a couple of more weeks until St. Joseph's School got out? Trying to get off my block in the morning will be a complete disaster with all the school traffic and now the construction traffic.

The town needs to adjust the light at Prospect and SA during this construction period or we will never be able to cross SA. I think I will call townhall and suggest they do just that.

And, Union is currently repaving Valley between Millburn and Vauxhall, choking off another artery. But Millburn hasn't done anything to adjust the lights at Millburn and Vauxhall -- don't go near there from 5-6. Do the DPWs talk to each other and coordinate?

Fruitcake,

Your posts are two things: Unhelpful and unpleasant. Are you of the Eleanor Roosevelt school? ("If you don't have something nice to say, come sit next to me?")

Thank you, mjc. The attribution to Eleanor Roosevelt made no sense to me. Alice does.

Cathy
