Yet another reason to get rid of Fred: Won't retract a lie. |

Who said Fred was lying? Let's analyze... It was a lawyer for the NJCA, this lawyer acts in the interests of the NJCA. Vic DeLuca is a board member of the NJCA.

I did. Because he is -- and not just about this, but about things a lot more important than this that will cost you a lot of money. But carry on with the feeding frenzy. Fred's a genius, as mem would say. |

Kathleen: Can you be more specific? It's difficult to analyze a generality. |

Joan - two years ago, in Fred's June Surprise letter "It's About the Taxes, Stupid," he wrote: quote:First let's see how much it would cost to renovate the existing Police Headquarters. It would be far less than what DeLuca ... wants to spend. And we can always create a Police presence on Springfield Avenue by installing a full substation there.
Although he said that he believed that the best place for HQ was on Dunnell Rd, just two years later, he says he never supported the Police building being anywhere but on Springfield Ave. He wrote (in the MOL online debate) quote:I am entitled to take credit for being a consistent supporter of locating the police building on the Avenue. Vic’s favorite location was the Verizon building, but I did not waver from the view that the police building would go a long way to creating a perception of safety on the Avenue.
The currently planned Police Building will cost about 50% more than any of the plans put forward 2-3 years ago, and the costs are rising fast. |

Maybe DeLuca should have built the MPD HQ in 2001 to save money. He should have forseen the rising price of steel. Shame on you, Vic. |

Kathleen- And Vic will save me money? Thanks primarily to Vic and Gerry my taxes went up 32% in one year. With friends like that, who needs enemies. |
