The tennis courts at Orchard Park (off of Dehart)have some pretty serious cracks in the cement which are getting worse. It's ashame because the courts were re-surfaced beautifully just 3-4 years ago, I believe. Last year, I spoke with Roger from the Recreation Dept. who said it was the responsibility of Public Works? Maintenance? to repair and he would pass the message along to them. Nothing was ever fixed. How/when can these cracks be repaired? Does the town have any recourse against whomever re-surfaced the courts in the first place? Thank you for your reply and for your attention to this matter. |

Having played recently at the courts on Oakland and the ones in Memorial Park, they all seem to be in bad shape. The ones on Oakland seem to have small trees growing in the cracks and there was a lot of debris from trees that wasn't getting swept up. The painted lines on the courts in Memorial Park are barely visible. Who is supposed to be maintaining these courts, and why aren't they? |
