...I'm confused, is this thank you really from Vic DeLuca, or is it from Jeff Markel?

What's so confusing? It was written by Vic DeLuca, and signed by Vic DeLuca. I'm the website administrator.

Just go to Vic's website, http://www.vicdeluca.com

What a well-written, gracious statement about the primary outcome and upcoming election. Thanks for the link Jeff.

"yeah, riggghhhhhhhht....." Getting to be quite the deep thinker there johnny.

What's so confusing is, Vic DeLuca didn’t send it, it was sent by you. Vic has always posted here in the past under his own name. You may be the website administrator, but are you now his official spokesman as well?

Listen, I agree with Wendy that it was a well-written, gracious statement about the primary outcome and upcoming election. I just don't understand why you posted his thank you message rather than Vic posting it himself? Is there some kind of problem?

I don't want to make this a big deal Jeff, but in case anyone forgot, I'm not in favor of any politician who boycotts posting on MOL. I believe if you want the support of those who read it, you should speak to and answer them directly, not through others, or any unidentifiable and/or unaccountable spokespeople.

I think that the politicians generally feel that posting on MOL is a waste of time or, even worse, a way to be misunderstood and shredded without basis. I hope they are wrong and that we can convince them otherwise. I believe I helped convince Fred and Ian to participate in the MOL debate. I urged both of them, and they did participate, though I can't prove I was the catalyst.

I don't think there's anything wrong with Jeff spreading Vic's word, though I agree with you, Art, that it would be nice if he participated here, too.

I got about 5 direct mail pieces from Vic before the primary. Why couldn't he mail a thank you letter after the primary instead of posting a "letter" on his website?

Maybe I'll post it on my website and then have someone else send him the link.

My simple question is still out there. Why didn't Vic post his own thank you, or is there a problem why he won't participate on MOL?

Vic? Jeff? Dave? Would someone please clear this up so we can all get on with the campaign? Listen, this upcoming election, in the opinion of some, is still a contest... Fred has shown his willingness to post, I hope Bart and Vic will as well. IMHO, MOL is an important vehicle to get the issues out in the open. If this is not so, lets hear about it.

Art, here's a simple answer to your "simple" question:

Vic published his own thank you. I posted a link to it. End of story.

Let's see J M , it took about 20 hours to answer a simple question from Art.
I guess the ol war room was dismantled.
Or Vic's hired guns are on vacation before the fall campaign.

Is this your idea of an ISSUE that needs this level of exquisite friggin' DETAIL? Somebody posted a LINK; well DUH! Just like a thousand OTHER links that get put up on this board.

Is the GOP platform that weak that you need to spend 20 hours, let alone 20 seconds, on this kind of -- well trivia is too important a word -- ??

Next time Ed May or somebody posts a link to www.georgebush.com, are you going to grill HIM the same way? "Gee, Ed, is that really from George or is it from you?? We really need clarification on this so that we can move ahead with the Bolton nomination."

Profeta didn't even have someone post for him to say thank you. Hammer away at him, Reflective, you lackluster no-goodnik.

OK Jeff, what ever you say. I’ll let it go… So thank you for sharing, and please tell Vic for me he’s welcome. He ran a smart, hard campaign, and I wish him good luck in the Fall…

Maybe Vic should be nice to Art's kind of people. Can't Art bring in a lot more than 170 Republican votes? A Dem may need these votes come November. Let's see.... which democratic candidate hates Republicans the most.....
