Please correct me if I am wrong. I believe MOL set a format where you present a question, and the candidates are then asked to answer it.
So, what happened? The other candidates have all started their own threads to answer the original questions. I began to answer Fred on his reply, and then asked a series of new questions on a different issue. I think over the next five months this may all get very confusing, and would be difficult for everyone to track all of our answers.
Can I please offer a suggestion that we all try to follow the original format so when anyone wants to read what the candidates have to say about a question, they do not have to keep changing from one thread to another. All the comments about each issues will be in one place.
Plan #1. Going forward, first the question (new thread) by David and/or any of the other candidates. Then anyone can answer and the rest can follow with his or her replies. In the process of answering or commenting on someone elseâs answer, should a new issue arise, we should then start a new thread....
Does anyone have another suggestion, or can we all agree to Plan #1 ? |

I think just let all post what and where they like now. If we had participation earlier we could have organized better.
I did ask ALL candidates to submit answers in an orderly manner by a specific time. Only Kathy and Kadijiah did so. No biggee. Glad to see the latecomers joining even if they want to play by their own rules.
Others are welcome to continue posting, of course. We'll try for more structure in the fall. |

Thank you Dave, but I think I would also like to hear from the Dems on this one. Two of them will be out of the race next week, I think....
In the mean time, the issues being discussed now will I am sure be rehashed over and over again in the months ahead. If nothing else, maybe we can at least start a system now.
Then there is always the possibilty, that this lack of organization, might be taken by some as a glimpse of how we will run things if we are elected into office.
What do you think, Fred, Kathy???? Will Plan #1 work, will either of you offer another plan, or shall we just post what and where we like? |
