Since there was an error in the News-Record, the Maplewood Health Officer asked that I post this announcement: Tonight from 7:30-8:30pm at the Maplewood Fire Department on Dunnell, free rabies vaccines for dogs and cats are being offered. You don't need to be a Maplewood resident to bring your pet. Kathy Leventhal Maplewood Township Committee |

Be warned. If you don't have the appropriate license for your pet, you will be threatened to purchase one. Not exactly free. But of course, we are all law biding citizens, aren't we? |

Greenie, the following is attributed to Abe Lincoln: "You can please all of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time."

I thought it was Captain Kangaroo who said that? My entire childhood was a lie? No, wait... that was "some of the people... all of the time, but you can't fool mom". |
