A few more Jitney questions

Two questions: 1. When are the 2006 passes going to be available? We spoke with the clerk when we bought this pass and she said they are usually available in December, but this year they didn't come out until January. Is that normal? Because we only had a few months, we skipped the parking pass, but would like one for 2006. Do we have to wait until the passes are available to use a permit spot? (I checked the township web site and there wasn't any updated information yet, but I did see the pending ordinances on increased prices, but still nothing on dates.) 2. I am assuming it is normal for the riders to give a holiday tip/gift. What do you usually give? Is it ok that I take into account I have only been on for 3 months? I am happy to give something, maybe just not as much as I will next year...
