The lights are usually on at night to illuminate the walkway through Memorial Park. This week they haven't been on for that stretch opposite Town Hall. Does anyone know who can I call to get them turned on again? Thanks in advance.

Call the non-emergency number at the police department. They in turn will call PSE&G to report the problem. Be prepared for someone to ask you the pole numbers of the lights which are out. I don't know why they do this since if the lights are out, it is too dark to make out the pole numbers but this seems to be standard procedure.

Good luck.

I believe Spare_o is refering to the lights inside the park - if so, they are maintained by the Township D.P.W., not PSE&G. The DPW electricians are aware of the outage and have been working to restore the lights. So far, they have determined that problem is a short or break somewhere along the wiring beneath the ground. This, of course, means having to dig along the line until the break is found. It's a PITA, but will be fixed ASAP

Waxwings--You're exactly right about the location and thanks for the information. I hope they find the short soon.
