Who is in charge of the village website anyway? I mean who is in charge of content, not the technical aspects? If the town is going to have a website, it needs an editor to make editorial judgements and someone to insure content is relevant and up to date.

I believe we should dispense with the photo ops of the village president and start by making sure all the governmental information for the citizenry is accurate and comprehensive. I'd like to see some vision and mission statements by the village and the various departments. There should be up to date organizational charts and contact information. Agendas that actually tell you something.

So, i repeat, who makes the editorial decisions?

Looks to me the website is no different then the way our elected offices run the town.

{hope it isn't Jamie who runs the site)
