A very sensible idea that ordinances be published and be made available to the public BEFORE the BOT votes on them was made by Rosen and Taylor. Of course, Calabrese said this has never been the case. (Well, that's a good reason for not doing it!) And then it was handed off to the legal committee (Moore-Abrams chairs it)to decide. Nice work in getting out in front of this one, Mr. President. And how about Moore-Abrams who ran on openness in government. Does this really have to go to committee? Mr. Gross, get Marge to put the ordinaces in a PDF file and post them along with the agenda. Takes about 2 mintues. Just do it.

I have made a similar request for passed resolutions but never received an answer.

Since we never see the details to resolutions they should be posted on the WEB site once passed.

Ordinances should be posted until the online file is updated which occurs once a year.

Technically this is not a big deal since they all exist as WORD documents.
