I'm confused about how I get rid of big pieces of trash/debris.
Do I have to call South Orange Disposal and make an appointment for them to take it?
Can I bring it to the DPW yard? Their website alludes to "Container Days", but doesn't explain what/when they are.
The previous owner of our house left some junk (and some good stuff too) and I can't figure out how the heck to get rid of some of the things that nobody wants... |

Container Days are on the village calendar. Saturday April 22nd and May 20th are the next two. Best to call DPW and ask for specifics.
You can call S. Orange Disposal to have garbage picked up (they will also let you know how much they charge ).

The SO DPW will also pick things (as I recall, appliances, fixtures, etc -- not trash per se) up at your home. Call them for specifics/schedule/appointment.
