LOL! Believe it or not, there actually ARE people who stand up for things simply because it is RIGHT and not for political ambition. |

Agreed! But, we need people like MG who do stand up for what is right on our BOT. We need people who put what is right ahead of their political ambition. We need people like MG! |

Hey, SoRising - The school's sports teams are variously called the Yellowjackets, the Ramblin' Wreck, and the Engineers, but the official nickname is Yellow Jackets. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georgia_Tech |

Is it possible to summarize briefly what you said at the meeting? I follow these stories with a certain amount of interest.

http://www.southorange.org/videoViewer.asp Tom, check it out for yourself. This time, Mr. Taylor actually was quite respectful, compared to last time, and it was John Gross who was appallingly nasty to Mr. Goldberg! His bumbling rants highlighted that Mr. Goldberg was polite, well-spoken and most important, in control of his emotions! Mr. Goldberg, I'd vote for you in a second and truly appreciate your calm, well-prepared courage on behalf of the reset of S. Orange! Thanks! (Nice to hear from you again, Jeff! You already know I'd vote for you again!) |

And, Mr. Goldberg, I'm sure I'm not the only one eagerly awaiting the results of your OPRA request about the specifics on the bond application that was pilfered for the TS Sculpture. It's really unbelievable that the BOT voted on using these funds, with many of them completely clueless about the fact that they authorized tax-dollars to be used without realizing it, AND that Mr. Gross has no idea what the bonds were originally issued for without "looking it up"! Please let us know what you learn! OOH! And I'll sign a petition for a referendum on Discretionary Spending in excess of 1% of the township budget! Is an online petition satisfactory? If not, tell me where to go, and I'll sign! |

MG - Thanks for asking about the budget Monday evening. Kind of an interesting response from John Gross. |
