I heard that Voro is up for sale. Any truth to this?

I heard that the owners are getting divorced and selling their house.

They must have disagreed about what to do with the old stone house.

I would bet the owners would not want that public (if true). Restaurant sales are tricky because (typically) employees start look ing for work elsewhere if they hear the place is for sale. It's pretty easy to replace a hostess but staff like managers and Head Chef can really kill a place -if they up and leave. As well, restaurants for sale typically scare away customers.

There have been places that have sold in town that I would have liked to have known about. Usually, stuff like that is shared in total confidence to avoid problems (like those).

I saw one SO restaurant advertised on the Internet. They did not mention the name but it was pretty easy to figure out.

How come I think this is sabotage because Voro just got nominated as a top spot in NJ?

Bring earplugs. The accoustics in there are ridiculous. But outside for brunch is nice...

For $80! Maybe I had too many bloody marys...
