South Orange Village has been recently named by the All State Foundation as a top ten (and only New Jersey) finalist in its National Civic League, All-America City Awards competition. This contest recognizes community excellence and civic responsibility.

i found this on apartments.com i thought it was nice to hear after all the crud that's been going on around here.

So South Orange was a finalist (not even a winner) TWELVE YEARS AGO? Just emphasizes how far the town has fallen since then. Hardly something to cheer about.
