You think that's bad. They even park in handicap without proper plates or placards. |

You should absolutely send it to Hartwyck. If nothing else, it let's the PA know that we are tired of the "do as I say, not as I do" attitude. but I would bet Mark H does something about this kind of attitude. |

Not for nothing but I much rather see the PA car parked in the no parking zone than parked in a legal parking spot that someone may need |

You people are something else. You go around town with your cameras trying to find reasons to complain. The PA officer who parked his PA van (not his personal one) in a "no parking" zone, could very well be on duty checking the expired meters and ticketing. As Nora very wisely says much better to park in that zone for an hour or so while he does his job, than take the parking slot of a shopper or a handicapped. You have to grant the PA employees some leeway while on duty. Most of the "no parking" zones, like the one pictured above, are there to provide access to emergency vehicles and personnel. Since the PA employee giving tickets is in the parking lot, within viewing distance, in case of an emergency he could very well move his van and free the spot. What will your next bitching point be? How about that policeman, Butch, who dances illegally in the middle of the road directing traffic? These guys get away with everything they write YOU tickets for. Shouldn't he write a jaywalking ticket to himself? Common' guys, get a life. (There, now I gave you another target to attack: me! Fire on) |

The van stopped there is not going to stop the 30 to 40 people coming out of the building, who can also exit on the street side on Village Square. The open spot is mainly there to provide easy access to emergency vehicles, and as I said earlier, with the PA officer being in the vicinity, there wouldn't be any problem vacating that spot in a jiffy.

"Most of the "no parking" zones, like the one pictured above, are there to provide access to emergency vehicles and personnel." I would love to find out what the emergency was. I'm sure it had nothing to do with scratch off lotto tickets. If this lane is for emergency use, and an emergency happened then what... "Too bad fireman, you can't get by here to save someone because the parking guy had an emergency bathroom break to attend to." There is usually a reason why there is no parking in these places. I am assuming that the reason is not for the lazy parking authority guy to have more convenience. And, phd6786, for a person who hates complaining you sure do complain a lot. I hate people to bitch all the time about how much other people bitch.

Can anyone answer these questions? How long was the car there? Why was he there? These seem to be important facts. On MOL - it's assumed 2.5 hours and "scratch off lotto tickets" or "lazy parking authority guy" Classic idiocy.

OK, I shouldn't assume that is what he was doing today. But I have seen him do it many many many times before. And, yes, he is lazy. |

Nice photoshop work, Dave. But a nasty attempt to instigate more antiPA sentiment, considering that some people - those not familiar with tech magic - may believe this photo as true. Why? Interesting how this van does not cast any shadows, even underneath it.

Not sure what you're talking about, 6786. I posted this first, but then thought it would be funnier on the roof. If I'm instigating anything, it's a laugh.

I found that to be funny. Dave can you make it ride the subway too. Honestly, if I had to pay a couple of parking tickets and then saw a p.a. car breaking the law, I'd be a bit steamed. Camera phones = power to the people. |

I think Dave is getting paid off by the town to make jokes of everything. That way people view the situations in town as funny instead of a problem.
