The bets line in the article:
Quote:He currently works as a flight attendant with Continental Airlines.
Better than any sentence he could receive. A 58 year old flight attendant? |

is this the same story??
Quote:Radio No-No: Alleged Seton Hall Hijacker Busted Man Accused Of Selling Air Time To Other Services Jay Dow Reporting (CBS) SOUTH ORANGE Essex County prosecutors said a former Seton Hall University employee literally hijacked the school's radio station. They said Michael Collazo alledgedly let a Hatian radio station and an information service for the blind use the university's airwaves, which reach much of New Jersey and the five boroughs. The 58-year-old was arrested Thursday morning in his Hunterdon County home and charged with stealing radio ad money during his tenure as faculty director. And this was no overnight scam. Prosecutors said Collazo stole the university's money over a 14-year period. The university ultimately fired Collazo in 2004 after a routine audit revealed his illegal aggrements with the two groups. "He would sell airtime on the rado station to advertisers," Essex County prosecutor Ford livengood told CBS2. "The checks would come in to WSOU, which were the call letters of the radio station. He had opened an account in the name of Warren Sound Options Unlimited, which has the same initials." Seton Hall senior Matt Schlett told CBS 2, "I hope he goes to jail. He's taking away from our funds, right?" If convicted, Collazo could spend 20 years in prision on theft and money laundering charges. He's currently beng held in the Essex County Jail on $5,000 bail.

Isn't everyone "presumed innocent" until found guilty by a jury of their peers (or make a plea bargain)? However, while he may have "spent it wisely" might play well to some, it would still point towards him committing a crime... |
