Any suggestions for an inexpensive place to rent something for kids (like a moonwalk or cotton candy machine) for a party in our backyard? Also anyone have good recommedations for party entertainment, like a musician, magician or face painter? Kids will range in age from 1 year to 9 years. |

That magician that advertises on MOL looks extremely good. Um. He's local I think. |

We used Miss Kathy for our 1 year old's bday. She uses a guitar and had various props like shaker eggs/scarfs and a bubble machine. Here's a link to her website: http://www.musictomyears.com/index.html We were very pleased with her and the kids at our party (ranging from 1 to 5) all had a fun time. |

Geri, Checked out Miss Kathy's website and this could be just what we're looking for. Do you remember how much you paid? Also, did you compare with any other entertainers before settling on this one? |

Let me ask my husband - I believe it was $150 with an unlimited number of kids (he turned one in November so I wouldn't know if her rates have increased since then). I had called Music Together with Kelly and they had a 10 kid minimum with a charge of $10 for every extra child after that. Miss Kathy is very nice and she shows up with her husband who helps her set up, clean up, etc. |

We ordered a moon walk for our girls' birthdays from Bounce a Lot Inc. in Berkeley Hts. for $200-$250 and found their service to be quite good. |
