Why is it a regular Joe Blow Resident knocks down their house they have to rebuild within a certain amount of time, yet the clowns knocking down buildings in our Downtown area aren't held to the same regulations?

How big of a hole must they dig at these sites before they are deemed to not have any land either? Then their taxes will go to zero!

JTA, are you sure about that? There is a property on Prospect that had a fire at least 7 years ago. It has never been rebuilt upon. I don't think the town gets to tell you that you have to rebuild, only that you can not leave debris, etc. on the property. Does any one know for sure?
