Stay inside, be safe...If you are caught outside DO NOT hide under trees or other high-lighting-attracting structures. (remember, when lighting strikes a tree it can radiate pretty far outwards.)


Try to make the most of the fourth but remember to be safe!

Looks like we had a power surge from the lightening July 4. Phone service gone, couple of appliances fried. And a fried squirrel in our backyard directly beneath the electric wire. Still waiting for phone service...sigh...
