I've been trying to watch the live videos of the BOT meetings. I'm using Windows Media. The video will run for a few seconds, stop and say "buffering," then run again for a few seconds, and then I have to start it again. Is this a common problem, or is it a hint for me to stop watching the BOT meetings? I can watch the video the next day when it's available without any problem. |

If you're watching live, can't you watch them on TV Spitz? I think it's channel 19 on Cablevision. |

I can't speak for Spitz, but not everyone cares to have cable TV. Spitz, how much memory does your machine have, and what is the processor speed? I'm guessing you do not have enough memory to sufficiently buffer the video stream.

You also want to ensure you have a decent broadband connection. Do not attempt to try watching the meeting over dial-up. |

I've been out of town. (Down here in Monmouth County where the latest local official just pled guilty to accepting a bribe. Also not far from Bailey's favorite bicycle shop, DJ's.) Thanks wnb - I'll check. That may be the problem. I'll survive. I look forward to the incisive MOL commentaries. p.s. Almost came back up for Janis Ian. MHD -I have broadband access. I use a Verizon Wireless Card which I wish I could use in Newstead. I'll just rely on your comments. |
