What's with all the big rocks and gravel on Ridgwood Rd by the duck pond? I know we had a storm but it looks like somebody lost a quarry. A Snapple truck zoomed past me and made a rock the size of a big grapefruit airborn and it hit my car!

From what SO Parents told me, this area was hit by a huge thunderstorm around 4 p.m. It's like that all over - branches down, rockslides, the brook is way up. Didn't have this where I work (Madison), but it must have been a doozy!

Hope your car wasn't damaged!

I got a scratch and I could care less but I thought man if there is a person walking or god forbid that thing hits a kid in the head. It looks like somebody's retaining wall gave out up on the Hill.

yes, I saw rocks and recycling containers and all sorts of debris flowing down toward South Orange Ave. Many areas of asphalt were uprooted too. It was one heck of a storm
