Woman's body found in South Mountain Reservation
An unidentified woman's body was found in the West Orange section of South Mountain Reservation early this morning, authorities said.

So why post it in the South Orange section? We've got enought stuff that actually happens within our borders.

Let the Maplewoodians deal with this. Or post it in the Short Hills section, they could stand a little bad press.

JB, I don't mind knowing this and would rather know it than not. I don't think there is a West Orange section of MOL. (Maybe the owners would consider creating one?) South Orange is closer than the other towns you mentioned to West Orange.

So what's the detail and who found "her".

What would people be doing at 12.55 AM in the reservation???
( blushing...)

FC, there was plenty I did as a youth in SMR at 12:55 a.m. and beyond. I still know where we can have a bonfire without notice on the coldest night of winter. Hint: Do not stretch your feet too near the fire or you'll melt the soles of your sneakers. Which makes your sneakers very dangerous when you navigate your way back to the car on icy, snowy paths.

Because they have to, silly!

You survived, you seem smart and level-headed, I'm sure your progeny will be just fine.

You, on the other hand...

How long until the Beifus lot will look appealing to dump bodies? It's vacant long enough.

BTW, West Orange has its own message board, obviously known by very few, at Westorangenj.net

FWIW
There was no foul play involved in the death of the woman found dead by Turtle Back Rock recently. It was a suicide.
