We didn't have power last night by Mountain Station from about 7pm until after 9pm. I didn't care about not having AC. I cared about missing Big Brother. I know there is some sort of problem PSE&G is working on in West Orange in the Northfield | Pleasant Valley Way area, but it's doubtful that has anything to do with what's going on here. If you need somewhere cool to hang for a little bit you can come over here. |

Well I just got back from my softball game and there were tons of places out of power. I stopped by the Walgreens in Orange and power was out there (including all the stop lights). I also believe there might be a nursing home in that area and all the people were moved outside. The light by the University was out (cops were all there). My building was out (Turrell Avenue)... and my lifetime supply of Mott's apple juice went bad (that's the only thing I'm upset about). But anyways - I believe most power was restored around 8:30ish. |

Lights just flickered a few times in the CHS/Pathmark area. I hope the power stays on!! I will never fall asleep without a/c in the bedroom! |

Having gotten stuck in the mess at Northfield and Cherry Laney/Pleasent Valley Way for nearly an hour last night I can report that it was related to repaving. Apparently a watermain was broken, knocking out water to about 60 houses. Northfield east of the JCC appeared still closed this morning. |

JTA - It was the one right next to Walgreens on Center Street (sidenote: I'm just assuming it was a nursing home, I'm not positive though). |

Thanks Sheena. Wanted to make sure it wasn't the one my friend's mom is in. |
