Anthony Garubo is Maplewood is fantastic. The prices vary by the level of the hair stylist, and I am sure the junior (or whatever term they use there) stylists charge aroudn that range. |

Images in Milburn. reasonable (right in your range) and terrific. 973-376-1162. I use Carina, but Carla and Anthony are terrific. Right around the corner from the Milburn theatre. I constantly and consistantly receive compliments on my hair and now the rest of the Library go there as well. Give them a try. Nancy |

We use Moods in Hair too. I go to Phil, who owns it, my husband goes to Angie. But they may be less expensive than Kay expects! MSW |

msuewillis, Phil doesn't own the salon his mom does(unless she retired?)just to keep the record straight. My parents owned various business ventures in NJ when I grew up and were my place of employment but I would never state that I owned any of them. |

I loath spending too much on hair care - not my scene. THat being said, A. Garubo is a nice salon. Depending on who you get you can spend between $45 and who knows. Basil (pronounced Bas-eel) is good and around $50 Ampie is a hair better (pun intended) but she is about $65. Good luck |

I might as well throw my wife’s salon in the mix. It's called the Chelsea Set and is located right next to the Maplewood Train Station. Satisfaction guaranteed! Call 973-762-4200... |

If you want inexpensive...go to Haircore on Morris Ave in Union or Bangles in Springfield in the Echo Plaza on Rt 22. Both have cut blowdry and shampoo for under $20 |

Phil told me he inherited Moods in Hair from his dad. One way or the other, he does a great haircut and is good at color too. Last week I got a haircut for $35. (I wasn't happy when Angie cut my hair, though.) |
