Rumor has it that the Saiyd Plaza properties have been sold and are currently under contract. Rumor also has it that Saiyd sold the properties for a combined $3.5 mill. Nice to know that he made such a nice profit while I had to drive by his dilapidated buildings, and hole, everyday since I moved to town. Can anyone corroborate on the above? |

Jeezus. What Dave said. Can anyone guess parking deck in lieu of the planned *luxury condominiums*? Josh, can you offer any information other than rumors? |

If the rumor is true, it's going to cost the Village if the Beifus property is condemned. |

Toto: From what I heard the deal was "under contract" - and we all know no deal is done until the transaction is complete. I don't know who the other party is. Again this information is second hand - I was hoping that someone would be able to validate it. |

Probably not. If rumors are true, he's probably a bit lighter in the collateral department these days. |

Will Bill Calabrese be forced to sell his Porsche so he can afford giving Saiyd another mortgage payment? Will Stacey Jennings succeed in sucking the life out of the business owners in town in her evil plan to flip everything property that hasn't fit Bill's "vision" yet? Watch phd6786 accuse SORising of paranoia and hallucination after she claims that the Flatiron Building was demolished needlessly to quiet the local rabble-rousers and convince them that this project is "Coming Soon!" MomOf4Peeps, meanwhile, just wishes for safe egress on Vose Avenue. Scandalous! Don't miss the next episode of As the Village Deteriorates, shown live daily on http://maplewoodonline.com/forum/. Yes, Tototoo, you gots to love those Ross boys. |

Josh- Do you know which properties are rumored to be sold? I think Saiyd owns a slew of properties, about 17 or so, many on Irvington Ave and South Orange Ave. and I think Church St. also. |

jayjay: From what I understood he sold the entire strip of 110-116 West South Orange Ave. I believe that he also owns the properties to the left of the hole which include the Resevoir and the Little Candle Shop. My best guess (based upon the price)would be that those properties were included in the sale. Again, please keep in mind it is second hand info. |
