Does anyone have an update on the plans for this store? It would be such a great addition to the town. When it was announced on SO's website on May 25, the press release stated "An announcement as to when the South Orange store will open is expected in the upcoming weeks."

The phrase "upcoming weeks" may not mean the same thing to the town as it does to you or me. Sort of like the phrase "coming soon" which the town has been throwing around in regards to this store. Apparently there is are additional definitions of "upcoming" and "soon" that are not featured in the dictionary that mean a currently unquantifiable length of time into the future. |

The citizens of SO are desperate for redevelopment of the town eyesores yet there is absolutely no updated information on these projects. The SO website continues to show architect's renderings of finished projects that are completely out of date. I for one took the bait and moved to SO based partly on these drawings -- hope it wasn't a mistake. I think people would be appreciative if there was more information flow from the town on these developments. |

Time in South Orange is measured in geologic time. You have herd of Paleozoic and Mezozoic eras? We are now in the Calabresic Era, where soon means about 3 million years. http://www.ucmp.berkeley.edu/help/timeform.html |
