There's a sign announcing an Ethiopian restaurant opening on Irvington Ave (across from the Getty station). I can think of a lot of cuisines SO lacks... is there enough demand in town to support two Ethiopian places? |

I would like to try it. We do have a lot of eating places, true. But perhaps research was done and there was enough interest to support Ethopian cuisine. |

I lived in South Orange for 8 years--now in PA. I'm an ethnic cuisine lover/junkie...and I adore Ethiopian. I often made trips to the city to a place called Meskerem to get my fix. I'm jealous. |

Cool. That's near me. I wish them luck, restaurants haven't been faring too well on that stretch of road of late. |

Ethiopian food is spicy and awesome. If you like Thai or Vietnamese, you'll probably like Ethiopian as well. Don't knock it if you haven't tried it. |

The other Ethiopian restaurant is Harrar, which recently opened on Village Plaze, across from Antonella's (where It's a Wrap was). |

ril, FYI... It's a Wrap is still there. Harrar is located where "Sweet Concessions" was located. |

srg, I HAVE tried it, thank you very much and I don't care much for it, though I love most other ethnic cuisines. My point is, do we need TWO NEW Ethiopian places when we're missing some other good ethnic options??? |
