Just reading the Sunday Star Ledger with all the articles and information about tomorrow being the 5-year anniversary of 9-11. Of course feeling saddened by the memories, I went on to read the Essex couny section where it lists all the events in Essex county taking place to commemorate the 5th anniversary, hoping to attend the one in South Orange. They list them in alphabetical order...lets see...Bloomfield, Cedar Grove, Fairfield, Irvington, Livingston, Maplewood, Montclair, North Caldwell, Nutley, Verona, West Caldwell and West Orange. So much for our 9-11 Memorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gbnyo_21ez4 , and proper communication wtih the residents of South Orange. If anyone hears that we are actually doing soemthing please let me and the rest of our town know. |

Shameful. You can bet the town will certainly have an event to commemorate the unveiling of Tau. |

You've got to be kidding. Why aren't we doing anything? There's a BOT meeting tomorrow night, someone should ask the BOT why instead of the BOT meeting some sort of memorial isn't taking place. At least Maplewood is having one. Hopefully they will include the South Orange residents lost in the attacks. |

Actually, I just found this on the Village website: http://www.southorange.org/articles.asp?articleID=222 Not sure why any of this was not in the Star Ledger like every other town in Essex County. |
