Anybody interested in the tangible / spiritual rewards of volunteerism who has not taken at least one of these courses is missing the chance to save a life -- quite possibly your own or that of one near and dear to you. Plus, you'll strengthen our community: you'll support the S.O.R.S., and put one more person out there in the world who can help a stranger in an emergency. Have a safe New Year, everyone. -s. BTW: The prices for these courses are very competitive. |

The squad accepts and can use volunteers who do not wish to drive. It's also not necessary to be an EMT to join. Take a CPR class, fill out an application, and we can plug you in somewhere. |
