I thought that in ground swimming pools were supposed to be emptied during the winter to avoid damage. I'm pretty sure that in year's past the SO pool was emptied and covered, this morning it looks full and almost ready for skating. Does anyone know why the pool would be left this way? |

Did you call anyone at the village? They'd probably have more inside info than any of us do.

...actually no -- the pools should stay filled -- you dont' want frost heaving and such to damage the concrete. (from my days as a board/association member) /p |

The pool used to be covered during the winter. This has not been the case since the town got the deck resurfaced by a private contractor who neglected to re-add the holes for the cover hooks. Now they have an open pool and an expensive vinyl floorcovering. |
