I would like to voice my complete disdain for Millburn/Short Hills being included here. If one of us would like to wax about above towns, one should visit NJ.com or some other functioning online outlet. MOL is not the place for this tripe.

As far as I'm concerned said towns are Shelbyville, and do not warrant mention herein.

A POX on Millburn/Short Hills!!!!

I set it up temporarily as a way to help our own MOL member Marc get through a problem he's having with ownership of the domain Millburnweb.com, which is down at the moment. If/When it comes back online, I expect the section to fade. In the meantime, let's judge people one by one and not base it on where they happen to live.

"do not warrant mention herein"

No further mention, then what should we talk about?

Matt Chill! I think it's very nice of Dave to help out Marc. Since this is Dave's Board, he can do what he wants. If we don'r like it, we don't have to pist here.

Marc- Good luck getting back online.

Taylor-
Break in the blizzard, no break in the blizzard party. I do understand my need to "chill" on the Millburnian issue.
Thank you Dave for your quick input before. Being brought up to speed on who, what, and why so promptly saved all of MOL land from more of my ranting.

After Millburn secedes from Essex will they then get the go ahead to hire poachers to kill deer in the res?

sorry, another needless dig.

The diner in Millburn sucks. A diner without a smoking section???? Who has ever heard of such a thing.
The last time I went there no only couldn't I smoke, but they ran out of Hamburgers! Also, parking there stinks.

Ok, Mc Cheese.. You have very valid points.
However, I kinda like the non-smoking section
even though I occasionaly light up a cancer
stick from time to time. But I like to enjoy
a smoke free meal. Running out of hamburgers
just seems like a case of S.O.L. Did you try
the broccoli bites?! And yes the parking does
stink.

Side note- I saw Bob Denver there when I was a
kid and I think thats what keeps me going back
too. The hopes of seeing him again.

mmmmmbroccoli bites!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

McGyver

I never tried the broc. bites there. Also, I try not to refer to those wonderful pieces of heaven as cancer sticks. Maybe power sticks, or energy sticks.

I saw Alan Hale at the Kless Diner. I don't know if he was there in a domestic capacity or just simply looking for a good case of salminella.

I've met a lot of nice Millburnites who warned me not to live in Millburn because it's so snooty there. I haven't met those masses of snooty people, though I won't claim they don't exist. I've only met the nice ones. Anyway, that's one reason I ended up living in Maplewood.

Well, Tom, you're overlooking the obvious. With the demise of Millburn Online -- where would you have posted?

5300+ posts -- and counting!
