Tax Statement?

Does S.O. send out tax statements? Should I have it already? Is this the same or different than the green post card I received that says "Notice of Property Tax Assessment for 2005"? It does have the total paid for 2004, but it doesn't say for tax purposes or have 1098 on it. I believe the "Notice of Propety Tax Assessment" is simply for tax purposes to show how much you paid LAST YEAR.   pan Citizen Username: Pan Post Number: 91 Registered: 8-2001 Posted on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 - 2:51 pm:        If you pay your property taxes through your mortgage you would not receive any notification from the town; the bank receives the notice and the bank pays the taxes.
