I play basketball for JESPY HOUSE in the SPECIAL OLYMPICS. This weekend all 3 teams from JESPY HOUSE will be in the sectional tournament, if any of the teams win a gold, silver or bronze medal the team will go onto states.
Now for the main reason for this post. JEPSY LAKERS PRUPLE(MY TEAM), has a game @ 9am and JESPY LAKERS GOLD AND JESPY LAKERS WHITE both have games at 10am and the Purple team has another game at 12:35 all on Sunday at Drew University.
Even if you don't know anyone on the team, and you want to do something please come and show your support.

TODAY IS THE DAY, Ther is 2 hours and 50 minutes before JESPY plays their first game. My team has the first game of the 3 teams and i am nervous as all hell...but that shall pass.
I will post either later today or tomorrow on how we did, it all depends on how tired i am after I get home.

Just in case you didn't read the message entitled "UPDATE" here it goes again. JESPY HOUSE is sending 2 out of 3 basketball teams to the SPECIAL OLYMPICS basketball stated tournament. the GOLD TEAM came in 4th in division I, the PURPLE TEAM(my team), came in 3rd in division II and the WHITE TEAM came in first in division VIII. In terms of the teams that are going to the states that will be the PURPLE & WHITE TEAMS! We have to win all our games on Saturday to go onto the games on Sunday.
The games are at FDU, Madison or College of St. Elizabeth's, Convent Station. |
