The house on the northwestern corner of South Orange Ave and Wyoming (across from the Mushroom house) has been having a lot of digging up going on and seems to be vacant. It also had a big dumpster there for awhile. Now I noticed the house next to it is also digging up its steps. Does anyone know what is going on there?

The house directly at the corner appeared to have been vacant for a while, then was offered for sale (the first time), and had a for sale sign on it again up until recently.

All in all, it looked and now once again, looks pretty uncared for.

I dropped my son off for school the other morning, and realized that those broken fence slats, holes in the ground, etc. could be a hazard to the 100's of kids walking by there to school. But over the weekend, it appears they moved the construction debris in a few feet from the sidewalk.

Perhaps they'll be inspired by the new owners of the "mushroom house" and do some landscaping!

Pete
