If we voted in the November elections and are South Orange residents, are we automatically registered/eligible to vote locally? Or do we need to complete a local registration form before the big day? My wife and I are fairly new to the area and have not yet voted locally.

Thanks all!

If last November you cast your vote in South Orange, you are registered to vote in the May elections. If last November you cast your vote in another community, you need to register as a South Orange resident in order to vote in May.

To do so you have to fill-in a Voter Registration Application and bring it to the S.O. Village Hall before April 11. You can download the Voter Application Form from here:

http://www.ericdevarisfortrustee.com/docs/voter-registration.pdf

And while you are there please visit the rest of my website, to help you decide your vote:

On May 10 Vote Eric DeVaris for Trustee

That's why I'm for Eric. He's meticulous. And, in fact, correct!
