This is an open letter from myself to Mary Theroux:
Dear Mary,
I have been consistently hard on you in this forum. I have nicknamed you Mary "Walking Conflict of Interest" Theroux for your various conflicts, which have been well stated here. However, this open letter is actually to compliment you for deciding NOT to run and protect your seat on the BOT.
Too often, politicians fail to realize when personal and occupational problems make serving in an elected capacity about as kosher as a sausage pizza. Though I have yet to see your reasons for not seeking re-election, I'm going to assume that the issues debated here were among them. For recognizing that this is a problem, I commend you.
As someone who prides himself on giving credit where credit is due-- I would like to extend credit to you. I wish you the best of luck in your future endevours, notwithstanding my opinion of the deal your boyfriend got from the city.

Although, I have a feeling we will be eventually see "Judge Theroux", "Village Attorney Theroux" or "Prosecutor Theroux" if history is any indicator. |
