Thank you to the owners of Bunny's and all the staff for making the Maplewoodonline party such a success. It's businesses like Bunny's that make South Orange such a great town to live in. You guys are great, keep up the good work. |

I missed the BIG event on Saturday, but did make it for the more low-key event on Sunday afternoon. It was good to see the Ross brothers & a few other familiar names from MOL. Even Soda made an appearance at Bunny's for the first time in a long time! Thanks to Bunny's for hosting!! BTW: Soda, while you were there, did you check out the "progress" on that Arts Center behind Bunny's and that empty lot across the Street? |

You know MHD, there is a time and THREAD for everything, the winking icon notwithstanding. But one couldn't expect anything different from you, now would we? I echo the thanks to John,Leslie and Bunny's. Hope they made lots of money on the bar, they earned it. |

I'm sorry I missed Soda last night; I didn't make it to this afternoon's event. I hope there were "special guests" there this afternoon and that he enjoyed them. These events were about helping Dave & Jamie in their effort to fight their inclusion in a lawsuit that, in my opinion, is completely without merit. Thanks to all who came out, and though I was too shy to introduce myself to everyone, it was nice meeting apm and Joe, the "real" Matt Foley, and just seeing all the usual suspects here on MOL enjoying a good time for a great cause. |

Ya know one of my none MOL friends I dragged along Saturday night kept saying the Joe's looked and tasted like they were from the Town Hall. Told her they couldn't be because the TH is closed until the new building is ready. Thought maybe you had some TH people working at Bunny's! |

Being a native Nu Yawlka, I'm a little puzzled by this Sloppy Joe phenomenon. In the Big Apple, a sloppy Joe was hamburger meat mixed with tomato sauce/soup and spices. It was put on a hamburger role and was truly a mess to eat. The first time I remember seeing Sloppy Joes was at the New York Worlds Fair. I beleieve after that there were canned mixes that may still be around today. Now what exactly is the Joisey version of a Sloppy Joe ?, the pictures someone posted looked pretty darn neat (as in not sloppy). |

I love Bunnies...but since SOPAC construction started has anyone noticed that patrons or workers block the driveway to the transit lot on a daily basis...If anyone from Bunnies is reading please recommend to your patrons and employees to not block the driveway, the light is short enough as it is trying to play chicken out of the lot makes it that much more annoying. I can walk an extra 100 feet for my pizza and I'm retired. |

Uke - the debate has been around for a long time about which sloppy joe is the "real deal." I grew up with the burger/spaghetti sauce version and all the while they were making the turkey, roast beef, and swiss on rye with Russian, cole slaw and butter variety at the Town Hall Deli in my hometown. (The true original "Cuban" version sloppy joe was made with tongue, but I can't quite stomach eating cow tongue.) I'll try to do some digging to find the debates on various boards/blogs, but some people were quite insistent and voiciferous about their opinions on which came first. |

Old and Gray, I hear ya on the cars parked near the driveway of the transit lot, but my sympathy is with John & Leslie, the owners of Bunny's. Just imagine the major difficulties they're having with deliveries and garbage removal, not to mention a good portion of their property sliding down into the construction pit that is SOPAC. The fence is practically blocking the back entrance to the restaurant at this point, and I think the village is obliged to address this situation immediately. |

Plus the handicapped parking is Waaaaaay over on the other side of the lot!!! They need to have a few by the South Orange Ave side for people who want to go to Bunny's and the other stores on that block. |
