The Jersey Animal Coalition, in conjunction with the Village of South Orange, will conduct a cleanup of the wooded area surrounding the new JAC shelter at the entrance to the Village Recycling Center. The event will take place on Sunday, April 17, 2005 from noon to 4pm. All persons willing to participate should wear suitable clothing, covering ankles and wrists. Hats and work gloves are recommended. For more information please see www.jaconline.org.

We hope the Farrell Field Park Association will join us on that day in a joint effort. I have also been assured by the town that port-a-bathrooms will be placed in the park, so you will no longer have to use our new plantings in the park as your outside johns. Who ever thought that we would have to be concerned about the two legged animals going on our bushes and trees. Those plantings were placed there to be a screen not a bathroom!!!!

Mary Gotz-Rother,

Do you really expect that the Farrell Field Park Assoc'n will appreciate your invitation when in the same paragraph you state:
so you will no longer have to use our new plantings in the park as your outside johns. Who ever thought that we would have to be concerned about the two legged animals going on our bushes and trees. Those plantings were placed there to be a screen not a bathroom!!!!

Are you accusing the FFP Assoc'n members of peeing in your woods? How shameful! How unneighborly!

You must have been around your animals too long and forgot how real humans behave.

Not to speak for Mary but I did not think she was accusing FFP. I think she was implying that people (in general) have been urinating on the trees.

Given the money the FFPA has wasted in fighting this shelter, I think it's safe to say they've peed on all of us.

(Even though Mary obviously wasn't saying that.)

Agreed. Sitoyan, I think you have to really be reading into things with a bad pair of glasses to read what Mary said as accusing FFPA of uriniating in public.

What an invite. I found it so negative that I for one hope that more 2 legged creatures come down and urinate on those doomed shrubs.
I would have seperated my invitation to a nice community service related event from my pathetic attempt at ridicule.
PS: Should I bring a lunch or arrive having eaten?
