Looks like they're using a system from Tecnavia. I think the NYTimes tried something similar (and I think it failed), where you could see the paper more or less as it appears in print. It's nifty, but when you really think about it, isn't it a misapplication of technology? More than half the screen is taken up by visuals that are essentially useless. Many pages load mid-page, so you need to scroll up the screen. I think limited time is right. |
