Okay, I admit it. I have a day job. It's pretty cool, I get to work with great people and get satisfaction from a job well done. But it's very BUSY right now and so is this election. Any advice on how to cope? I have been staying up WHOA WAY TOO LATE trying to read everything and be fair about my posts (some people probably lost their scotchn' through their nostrils at that one), but I feel almost assaulted by the sheer volume daily. I just cannot stay up this late. I also can't surf the board at my leisure. I admit that there are other distractions going on in my life, but local politics is important and this election is VITAL to the vibrance of this town. I just want all the regulars and newcomers to understand my position. I will be volunteering at the ADE campaign HQ this weekend and would love to meet anyone IRL who's willing. Anyways, my question is whether anyone else is having trouble keeping up with the volume? Any tips or how-tos? Gratefully in advance, Bets Betsy Elizabeth Black |
